We've made it easier to Order our Medium Size
During 2009 we began to offer larger sized Scented Leaf Pelargoniums and we have been amazed at how popular these were from the outset. In readiness for 2010 we have grown on a comprehensive selection of our Starters and many of our Collection may now be purchased as Mediums.
(In hindsight we shall not be offering a Mature Size as many are too large and difficult to post and they might end up damaged.)
What do we mean by a Medium Sized Scented Leaf Pelargonium?
Scented Leaf Pelargoniums have quite diverse growing habits and do not come in a standard size; all are individually unique. Due to this we cannot specifically say that a Medium would be a certain size, as you would be able to with a common bedding pelargonium. As a guide our medium sized plants would have been potted on at least twice, have a well established root system and would have quite a few new stems/branches suitable for taking cuttings. When we have good stock levels many of our Medium sized plants would be more on the 'Mature' size, which makes them excellent value for money.
Example: As an average a Medium Size would give a minimum of 4 cuttings and as many as 10 or more!!
Instant Appeal
We know that for many of our Customers they prefer a plant that is 'ready to go' and for various reasons they don't want to have to grow them on. The majority of our Mediums would be in flower within a very short space of time.
All of our plants do require potting
It is important to remember that any plant that we post out will need potting up and you should have pots and a gritty compost to hand for their impending arrival. If you are new to growing Scented Leaf Pelargoniums you will find lots of information here to help you.
