I've received your 12 pack of plants today and am v impressed with the prompt delivery, how they were packed and how healthy they look. Have got a job now potting them on later, but they look and smell divine! Can't wait to see how they get on. Thank you :)

Lucky winner of your June competition here! I'm happy to say my wonderful prize of 12 scented starter plants arrived safely yesterday, and I'm delighted with them!

I especially ♥ love ♥ the "Crispum Variegatum". With it's yellow tipped leaves and shape, it reminds me of a little Christmas tree!

But my favourite scent has to be "Attar of Roses"... it really does smell like an old English rose. Just beautiful!

Thank you so much for picking out a great selection for me! :)

My 26 scented geraniums arrived at 7.57 this morning - beautifully packaged to afford them maximum moisture and minimum damage during transition. The Courier said "if only all deliveries were as simple as this - they gave exact instructions - right to the door..........", before I even had a chance to inquire if he had any difficulty finding the place. I am delighted and can now have the little plants safely potted up before I go away. Thank you so much for your help. I am sure that I will shop with you again.

Whenever possible we do like to give the 'personal touch' and if we are able to help we always do. Thank you so much for your positive feedback and we do hope that you enjoy your trip to Paris this week.

Thanks Birgit for letting us know. The new blister packs are certainly preventing transit damage, thankfully. Yes, even the Starter sized plants do give off the most divine scent!

Kathleen is one of our ever growing number of Southern Ireland followers. We've recently reduced the P & P to the Irish Republic and thankfully discovered a reputable Courier who delivers from the North to the South on a 24hrs/48hrs schedule. So that is great news for the Irish!

I'm so glad I discovered this site! :)

I was very wary about buying plants sight unseen, as when I've tried it before, (from a daily newspaper plant catalogue,) I ended up receiving very poor quality plants... spindly, almost leafless twigs, which quickly died.

But after reading great customer reviews on another site, I decided to place an order here for the "12 Scented Geranium starter pack", and I'm so pleased I did! I received not only very healthy, robust plants, but also excellent aftercare service.

So to anyone who hasn't placed their order yet, do so in full confidence of lovely, healthy plants, friendly emails and 100% customer satisfaction!

Annie & Guy's Reply:
Thanks Ingrid that's great feedback and very much appreciated. We all read reviews these days on the internet but, as they say, 'the proof of the pudding is in the eating'! Thanks also for signing up for our monthly e-Newsletter and entering our free Competitions.

Hello Annie and Guy

Thought I would just write and say what a lovely time Lesley and I had at your home yesterday you must feel like you are living in a little piece of heaven, it was so beautiful and peaceful.I have planted up my lovely babies and look forward to having wonderful plants. Then I might try some of your recipies. Thanks to you both for signing my book and showing us round, taking the time to explain all about the plants, us being complete novices we really appreciated it. See you again when we are looking to add to the collection.
Many Thanks Julie

Annie & Guy's Reply:
It was an absolute pleasure showing you around our Nursery and chatting about our diverse collection of Scented Leaf Pelargoniums. It is very obvious that both of you have really fallen in love with just about every single type! Yes, it is very difficult to make a choice. So much so that the list that you were making of what you would like to take with you had to be severely cropped. As you are both Newcomers to the world of the Scented Leaf Group your enthusiasm was an absolute delight to observe. We still find it very amusing that you asked us to sign your copy of 'Chocolate Wishes by Trisha Ashley', which is where you discovered our website address. I have emailed Trisha to let her know and she has replied that her latest book is now complete and will be out shortly. Thanks again for taking the time to pay us a visit here on the outskirts of Dungiven and we both look forward to seeing you again. Welcome to the Scented Leaf Pelargonium Addicts Club!

order no: 213370

Thankyou for sending the geraniums to my daughter in Menorca, Spain. All of them arrived very well except that Mabel Grey did not make the journey!Perhaps I could have your comments?
Yours sincerely,

Jennifer Woodley

Annie & Guy's Reply:
Thank you Jennifer for letting us have your Feedback. We are really pleased that all but one of the plants did make it in excellent condition to your daughter in Menorca. However, as we do clearly state on our website any plants that are posted out of the UK the order is placed on an 'own risk' basis and this is clearly stated in our Ordering, Payment & Delivery Information. Unfortunately, many postal services in EU countries are nowhere as good as the Royal Mail. I can categorically state that all of the plants that I personally picked for your daughter did leave our Nursery in excellent condition and as Mabel Grey did suffer during her journey to Menorca we can only put this down to rough handling of the very good packaging that we use. Very sorry that we do not guarantee our plants to any EU country, even including Southern Ireland, but I think that you would agree that a loss of £1.67 can be accepted for such a long journey that the plants did undertake.

My Geranium order arrived today and I wanted to write to express my thanks for the friendly and efficient service. The plants arrived in perfect condition, lovingly wrapped in their little packages, packed to perfection amongst shredded paper to eliminate damage and all for £20 for 12 plants, including the postage from Ireland. Brilliant.

Annie & Guy's Reply:
Thanks Chris - it is always really good to hear that our little precious babies have survived their perilous journey across the mini-pond (Irish sea) to the mainland UK. Our main interest is in growing and we do take every care in ensuring that we post out excellent quality plants. Thanks again and we really would love to hear how your little babies get on as they mature into raving beauties.
When we send out our lovely plants it really is like losing part of our very large family.

From: Kelly (Thu 25th Mar 2010 at 07:10)
I have a friend here talking about plants and he has been trying to get a lemon scented geranium from seed off the internet or from garden centres with no joy. We both live in Coventry and he wants it as a plant but where can we get seed from? I would like to sow the seed now or in a month or 2. Or where is there a nursery where we could go and buy a scented geranium plant?

Annie & Guy's Reply:
Hi Kelly and thanks for contacting us.

Look no further!! We grow 70 different types of scented leaf pelargonium, including several lemon varieties, which you will find in our online Catalogue.

Firstly, as a matter of interest, the correct name for scented geraniums is scented leaf pelargoniums. There are several groups of pelargoniums(commonly referred to as geraniums) and the scented group is an individual classification.

Growing the scented types from seed. It is not recommended that any of the scented group is grown from seed as they are not likely to come true to type, i.e. the seed grows into a cutting and then matures but it isn’t likely to be like the Parent plant that the seed was harvested from. This explains why it is difficult to buy seed. Also, the seed tends to be very fine and dust like and is often difficult to germinate. I am aware that there is a particular person on ebay who regularly sells scented leaf seed but I really do not recommend this route. Also this person is not naming the types correctly and it is due to amateurs such as these that the correct name becomes really messed up.

If your friend is looking for a lemon scented leaf pelargonium it would be usual (and is recommended) to buy in a small plant, such as our Starter size, and then grow on. As it reaches maturity you would then take further cuttings to increase how many you have.

There are many different lemon scenteds, as you will see in our online Catalogue and you might be surprised to know that they do all smell different. The scented leaf group are classified as herbs and as such the leaves have many uses and are used in recipes, cosmetics, herbal preparations, medicinal and as a sensory aid.

It is very common for most amateur growers to refer to pelargoniums as geraniums but the latter is a completely different type of garden plant and would be a perennial which is left to grow in the garden all year round. The geraniums also look entirely different and do not have aromatic leaves.

Scented Leaf Pelargoniums are a highly specialised group of plants and there is a huge worldwide following. They are quite easy to grow as long as a few basic rules are adhered to and the stunning aromatic leaves, with so many different available scents, does indeed make them one of the most versatile plants that you will come across.

I do hope that the above is of help and please do contact us again if you have any further questions. But, please ask your friend NOT to buy seed!!

Best regards
Annie

I received our scented geraniums today. I would just like to thank you for such lovely plants in great condition and a very generous size. Ive ordered cuttings before from other companies and they have been far inferior to yours.

Head Gardener

Annie & Guy's Reply:
Thanks Lisa. Our aim is to continue to improve year on year and larger Starter plants are high on our list. We worked really hard last autumn to get as many cuttings on the go and we have been rewarded now by being able to post out strong healthy plants of an above average size. We are Growers first and foremost and we are not driven by high profits!! Thankfully.

Just to say that I received my plants. I am very pleased with them. They arrived very well packaged and in good condition. Looking forward to seing them next year when they are bigger plants. Thanks. Sheila

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Thanks Sheila for the positive feedback. Once the Starter sized Scenteds are potted I think you will be quite surprised at how quickly they put on new growth, even at this time of the year. Indoors they tend to have a lesser dormancy period as the heat and light stops them from going to 'sleep'. With correct water, heat, light and feeding many of the scented geraniums will remain in flower over the winter months. We think you will be pleasantly surprised!

From: bette jeffery (Wed 7th Oct 2009 at 09:44)
Thank you for the plants which arrived safely today.
A lovely selection for a starter pack. I look forward to seeing them mature !

bette jeffery

Annie and Guy's reply:
Thanks Bette for your very kind comments. Yes, even at the Starter stage the perfumes are quite amazing. We'd love to hear your comments once the plants have reached maturity and how long this takes, especially at this time of the year.

From: David.J. Richards (Fri 2nd Oct 2009 at 15:46)
plants arrived safely yesterday, despite post office denting the box they were well packed and protected. The aroma on opening the parcel was wonderful, now all planted up and waiting for them to grow.

Thanks David for the great feedback, it is always appreciated. Yes, the fragrance is quite amazing and become s even more pronounced as the plants mature.

From: Linda Sharpe. (Thu 1st Oct 2009 at 20:42)
Received the plants today even though some areas of the country have been experiencing postal strikes.I was emailed yesterday, and they arrived today in great condition. Their fragrance is delightful. Many thanks to you both.

Annie & Guy's Reply:
Thanks Linda for the Feedback, it really does help us to monitor how the plants are travelling and how long the delivery times are from us posting out. Generally to most UK destinations parcels are delivered within 48 hours although to more remote areas this may take a day or so longer. The postal strikes are giving us a few headaches at present and so far we haven't heard when they will end. Thanks again and please do add us to your Favourites as we shall be adding a lot of new types of scented pelargoniums to our online Catalogue during the winter months in readiness for Spring 2010.

From: Ellen (Wed 9th Sep 2009 at 05:16)
How do I order scented geraniums from your website to be delivered to the US?

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Hi Ellen

Thank you for contacting us. The answer is that plants may only be shipped by us to the UK and EU due to UK/European Regulations. This is to prevent the transportation of diseases and pests around the world.

There are specialist growers of Scenteds in the US and it might be an idea to order direct for delivery to the US. If you do a search through Google, - US Scented Geraniums or US Scented Pelargoniums - this should bring up a few websites for you.

Hope that helps.

Thanks very much, good quality baby plants, prompt delivery, excellent packaging (which is now in the compost) and a small problem with the order dealt with quickly and easily. Great value and free postage.

Thanks Lyn for your Feedback. We do our very, very best to offer 1st Class Customer Service and we do stress throughout our website that a Customer is able to contact us at all stages of an Order, as well as being able to ask us general questions at any time. Unlike some of the big plant players we read and answer all emails ourselves and our continuing aim is always to provide a personal and enjoyable experience.

Hi there
Just to say the geraniums have arrived safe and well this time and are now potted up and on the window sill.

Many thanks for re sending them and if the other box does turn up I will let you know.
Hope you had a nice break.
Thanks again

Kindest regards
Rebeccah Stripling

Annie and Guy's reply:
It had to happen at some point that a parcel did go missing via the Royal Mail. Over the past 3 years we have sent out a few thousand throughout the UK and EU and this is the first time that one went astray. Very good average we think and we consider there isn't a country in the whole World that has such an excellent post service such as The Royal Mail.

Hi,
Thanks so much for the plants, which have all been potted up ready to go into school in September. The only one that seems poorly is Graveolens, who is curling up and droopy. However, I'm hoping that it's just the shock of the journey and it will perk up in a few days.
It was lovely to see shredded newspaper used as packing by the way, which went straight onto my compost heap. Many thanks again for the lovely plants, I'm sure the children and staff alike will enjoy them.

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Thanks Ayesha for your 2nd Order which we posted this week. We popped in a Graveolens to replace the one from your first order that didn't look too well. Posting plants can be stressful for them but generally they will perk up after a couple of days once they have been potted and watered. We think the children and teachers alike will be totally fascinated....

From: Lynn Jones (Sat 1st Aug 2009 at 08:49)
My plants arrived last week. I've planted them in some terracotta pots and they look lovely - 2 are in flower already. Thank you for the lovely selection. I am sure that they will be welcome visitors when they come in for the winter!

Annie & Guy say: Enjoy.

From: Fiona Perston (Thu 23rd Jul 2009 at 11:55)
Hi,thankyou, your beautifully wrapped young plants arrived safely and are now tucked up in little pots with no 2 compost and are on a table in the garden,in the shade. I really like the contrast of textures and scents.Best wishes, Fiona Perston.
p.s. ...hope you don\'t think me cheeky but , your little leaflet should read \'windowsills\'.No \'c\', unless the Irish spelling is different!

Annie & Guy's Reply:
Thanks Fiona for your kind feedback. Re the Irish spelling - we use the same English language as Mainland UK - it's the writers who can't spell, i.e. me and Guy!! If you spot anything else please let us know. We'll be spending more time reviewing and improving our website over the winter months. As we had a few thousand leaflets printed, with the 'c' instead of the s, we'll amend this for next time.

From: Marie Garvey (Wed 22nd Jul 2009 at 22:03)
Couldn't believe the wonderful scent that escaped from the box on opening and they are all (with the exception of one casualty) planted and looking exceptionally healthy.

The one casualty was Tomentosum Peppermint. However, I have planted the shoot without the plug and will let you know if it takes.

Fantastic service - no problem recommending your company to friends.

Annie & Guy's Reply:
Thanks Marie for your Feedback, which is always appreciated. Very occasionally there is the odd casualty as we do send out many hundreds of SG's most weeks and the parcels do take a lot of bashing during their journey to you with the Royal Mail . No problem though - I'll send you a replacement PT Peppermint when we post out our next batch of orders.

From: Lisa (Tue 21st Jul 2009 at 21:29)
Hi Annie and Guy, many thanks for the plants received in perfect condition this morning. Took me back to childhood tombolas wondering what little treasures would come out next of that wonderful packaging. Absolutely thrilled - made my day! Thanks very much - I will be back!

They arrived this week in perfect condition.
I really appreciated your handwritten accompanying note Annie - thanks a million

Annie and Guy's Comments:
This is what makes us different from so many other Nurseries and Companies - we really enjoy providing the personal touch and where possible we do aim to meet our Customer's requests. We value every single order that we receive and each and every one is carefully selected. Our aim is always to please and to provide excellent quality plants at a good price. We are able to achieve this as we are Growers first and foremost and aim to treat our Customers as we would expect to be treated when we buy items over the Internet.
Thanks Rosy for your very kind comments and we do hope that you receive a lot of enjoyment from your smelly pellies.

Your service is second to none and I will be recommending you to all of my friends and family. What a pleasure it is to deal with someone who cares as much for their Customers as they do for their products. Your service is not first class it is premier class!!!!!!
Again thank you very much, Susan

Annie and Guy's Comments:
Susan had a problem with one of the plants she had received and contacted us to let us know - which we really do ask our Customers to do should this ever arise. Here is our email response that we sent her:

Sorry to hear of Crispum Variegatum’s demise.  Very occasionally the
odd SG doesn’t take the travelling too well to their new home and they
miss their fellow friends here at our Nursery.

Not to worry though we’ll post you another CV free of charge this coming week.  Hopefully, the replacement will have a stronger will to live and settles more happily in the loving home that we are sure you will provide.
Thanks for letting us know as we do aim to offer first class Customer Service and we are only able to rectify a situation such as you have experienced if we are informed.
Best wishes from Annie and Guy

Wonderful website, but please consider debiting your customers on despatch of goods, not before. It is really impressive when suppliers do this.
Your order confirmation email says despatch will be 9-13 days after the order. Mmm....

Fabian Gardens Limited

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Thanks Jeremy for your Feedback which we really do appreciate. We hope the following answers the points that you have raised:
1. Debiting customers debit/credit cards at the point of posting out the order? - we are a small Nursery specialising in Scented Leaf Pelargoniums, although we do grow other types of plants that visitors would buy here. The Order Management System that we use has worked brilliantly for us and does keep Customers informed at all stages of their Order being processed. We do state on all order updates that a Customer is welcome to Contact Us with any query regarding their order and we do aim to reply within 24 hours. There isn't the facility on our System to receive an Order and then charge it later and in 3 years of trading this is the first time that this point has been raised. I think it would be fair to say that when goods/services are purchased over the internet the vast majority of companies would take payment at the time of a Customer placing an Order and, indeed, when we buy goods it's never a problem for us that we pay up front. When I have bought plants over the internet I prefer to pay at the time of Ordering as I find being charged later inconvenient as I never know when my account is likely to be debited; this being as most of the larger companies do not operate a good Customer Service Policy and do not keep the Customer informed of Order progress, such as we do. There are pluses and minuses for both and whatever we put in place would not suit everyone.....
2. Suppliers being impressive point - first and foremost we are Growers and our website aims to promote a wider interest of Scented Leaf Pelargoniums. Thanks to Guy's excellent web promotional skills on average we constantly receive in excess of 30,000 hits per month and he manages to keep our site in the No 1 or 2 spot on the front page of Google. We have received enquiries from just about every country in the World, even though we may only post out to the UK and EU due to plant regulations.
2. Order Confirmation - Throughout this season (2009) most Customers have received their Orders within 14 days, which compared to some of the larger Plant and Seed Catalogues is an excellent record. We are a little puzzled why you challenged anticipated dispatch at this stage as we only received your Order a few days ago and it is currently being processed and you have been emailed an anticipated dispatch date.

We do really appreciate your comments Jeremy as without Feedback we cannot know what our Customers are thinking. Needless to say we cannot make alterations for each suggestion that we receive but, rest assured, we have taken your comments on board and Guy and I will discuss these at length.

Thanks again.

Twelve lovely little plants arrived this morning in excellent condition, beautifully packed and moist. They are now sitting outside in the sun awaiting their new homes.
Thank you very much indeed.

Dear Annie and Guy
Thank you for the very easy and prompt transaction. We received our starter pack today and have transferred the plants to more suitable homes and look forward to a good showing and lots of perfumes! We first saw these plants growing in our garden in Ibiza and were told that they kept mosquitoes at bay!
Once again thank you for an excellent service.
Richard

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Richard ordered our Special Offer of 12 Starter Scenteds for £20. We have been sending out 12 different plants which is an excellent way to begin a collection.
As for keeping mosquitoes at bay Richard isn't the first customer who has mentioned this but we don't know if this is a fact? Observing our many SG's lots of different flying insects are attracted by the lovely scents although we haven't noticed any mozzies!

Hello Annie & Guy

Thank you for the plants which arrived safely today; I thought that after their long journey that they might need a rest so I have tucked each one up in bed in it's own 2 inch square pot and given them a drink.

They all look very healthy and we are looking forward to their development!

Regards and Thanks
Mike

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Did you remember to sing Rock a Bye Baby to them when you were tucking them in? OK.....I know that might be going a little too far.

My plants have arrived safely and look healthy. I nipped out to buy new pots for them and am really looking forward to watching them grow. I only wish I had room for more. When these are established I may think of something!!

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Hi Maria and many thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking of putting a Health Warning on our site....yes, Scented Geraniums do have an habit of becoming ADDICTIVE!! When I first sent off for some I had no idea that on their arrival they would have me hooked for the rest of my life!! There's not a day (even a minute) that I am not amazed by each and every one of my ever growing collection. Just Beautiful.

From: Richard - Cornwall (Tue 19th May 2009 at 13:14)
Having lost all except one of my scented geraniums this year due to bad winter weather (normally they survive outside here in Cornwall, but this year they didn't even those in the unheated greenhouse) I was very pleased to find your website, and be able to replace a few of them. The plants survived their 500 mile trip and arrived in excellent condition; they have been potted on and are enjoying the warm sun as we speak! They will most definitely be cosseted this winter!

Many thanks for a more than excellent service, I will be back for some more later and will certainly recommend you to everyone. Thanks again.

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Thanks Richard for the feedback. We have had similar comments from quite a few of our Customers who live near coastal regions. This past winter was particularly hard and we experienced a lot of really bad frosty nights. Our heating bill for the winter quarter was more than double but our little beauties are worth this. We would recommend that everyone who leaves their scenteds outside over the winter months keeps up with the weather forecasts and if clear skies are mentioned an horticultural fleece is used to cover the plants. It's frost settling on the leaves resulting in burning that kills the plants and not actually the cold. If you don't have fleece to hand try covering with newspaper, bubble wrap or even old net curtains. Hope that helps.

Hi again Annie & Guy,
Thanks so much for the 2 x Birdbush Kay Lye which arrived safely yesterday and are already potted up and on my kitchen windowsill. It was very generous of you to not only replace my one plant that didnt survive postage but you sent me two!! My plants mean a lot to me, I love them and it is obvious from your customer service and emails that you are passionate about them and take great pleasure in providing an outstanding customer service!! Thanks one again, Sue

Hi Both,
Have just released the SG’s from their captivity after their long journey.
We look forward to caring for them all, and seeing that they have a good life.
As a blind person, I have enjoyed thirty odd years of SGs, though some of your varieties I have not seen before. I enjoy them myself, and use them as a talking point with groups of other blind people. These new varieties will take their place in ensuring that I can go back to places I have been before with new scents.
David Scott.

Annie and Guy's reply:
Scented leaf's really are so very versatile and as you can see from David's feedback they can even provide you with a good social life! Have a great time David with your friends.

Hi thank you first for our scented geraniums plants which are now growing great, My sister and I had booked a long weekend in Ireland to see our sister in law and when I saw where the plants had come from I just had to go and visit you both, I would like to thank you both for showing us all around and spending all that time with us (nearly 2 hours) we all enjoyed our selves and found it very interesting, the plants that we bought have arrived home safe and are doing well. Thank you once again and we will see you again in Aug.

Annie and Guy's Reply:
Thanks Marion for your kind comments. It was our pleasure to show you all around and we look forward to you visiting us again in August. It might be helpful for you to send us an email prior to your visit so we can be sure to be here.

Hi Annie and Guy,

wow the plants did take a long time to return! thank you for letting me know what happened to the 1st parcel, it definately solved the mystery. Your service is truely fantastic!

I am VERY happy with the ones I have on my window sill, they are doing really great, I even got flowers on a few of the plants already. LOVE THEM!

kind regards,
Jo

Annie and Guy's Comments:
We posted the first parcel out 1st Class in early April 09 and unfortunately the Postman didn't leave a card for Jo to go and pick it up from the Sorting Office. The parcel was eventually returned to us here in Northern Ireland 6 weeks later!! Needless to say the poor little beauties didn't survive and all that was left were dead rotting stems. Jo did use our Contact us page to let us know that her parcel hadn't arrived and we dispatched a duplicate order the following Monday at no additional cost. it is our Policy to offer exceptional Customer Service and we assess a query on individual merit and mostly plants would be replaced if a Customer wasn't happy This is a rare occurrence but, of course, there will always be the odd problem and we always do our best to resolve things. We believe that 99.9% of our Customers are genuine and it would only be a very tiny minority who would take advantage of our generous natures.

When you Order from us you can be assured that we appreciate all of our Customers and we do go out of our way to provide a very personalised service.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I was amazed to receive my little Geranium in a jiffy bag. What a stroke of genius, it was in perfect condition and delivered swiftly by first class post. I needn't have worried about making sure someone was home.

I waited a few days before leaving my comments, and I am happy to report it has taken well and continues to grow (almost visibly) by the day.

Kind regards,

Your very happy customer

Hi Annie & Guy

Thanks for taking the time out to reply and explain things. Even though I only ordered a few things you're treating me like your number one customer. I have no hesitation in recommending you to my friends and family.

And thank you for your offer of putting another plant in with the replacement. I will look forward to receiving this.

Also as you have suggested, I have nicked the Graveolens. Fingers crossed it will take! I will let you know how it goes.

Once again, many thanks for taking the time out to reply to me and offer an exceptional service.

Hi
Re: Order No. 74580
I received my order this morning and would like to thank you for a swift efficient service.

I have just potted the plants, however, the Gravelons stem had come away from the netting, loose in the packet, and as such doesn\'t have any roots. I have put the stem in soil. Is this likely to grow or should I re-order another one?

Many Thanks

Courtney Lessells

Annie & Guy says:
Thank you very much for your kind comments. Sorry about the Graveolens but no problem we’ll send you a replacement shortly. I would pot up the original graveolens as there is still a chance that it will root - just nick the base of the stem to release the natural rooting hormones. Unfortunately the way packages are handled by the Royal Mail is beyond our control and although we do take a lot of care in the way we pack our scenteds the very occasional damage does occur. We always value feedback and this helps us to improve our service and we are currently looking at an alternative source of packaging.

Hello Annie and Guy,

My geraniums arrived in London safe and sound! I am extremely happy with them, potted them up in peat pots, watered well and placed on my window sill. I do hope this is how I'm supposed to pot them, being a beginner I'm always slightly uncertain.

I just want to say a big thank you for them! They're perfect.

Kind regards,
Jo

Hello Annie & Guy,

A massive thank you for the generous replacements after my order was lost in the post and the plants are perfect! I am a beginner in gardening but when I found out about the scented geraniums I just had to have them.

I potted them up but a lil bit of the jiffy netting is showing, would I have to repot them so its all covered? Sorry, I\'m a COMPLETE beginner.

Thank you again!

Annie & Guy says: The Jiffy 7 should be below the compost level and shouldn't be showing. We think that you need to pot a little bit deeper in the compost to just below the bottom set of leaves. Hope that helps.

Thank-you so very much for the truly lovely geraniums and the extra peppermint one (which has quickly become my favourite). They are wonderful.....and growing well, which is amazing for me!

Unfortunately, my father, passed away the day they arrived, and so the poor wee things were left to sit on the side board for a week, semi forgotten in my priorities whilst I was busy organising other things. However, when I eventually got around to them, I found the plants still bright and healthy..... a small but cheery reminder of all things good and happy during a sad time.

Dad loved scented geraniums, they reminded him of his childhood and he had helped me choose these particular plants, and so I have an extra special reason to love every single one of mine.

Thanks to you both. I know I\'ll be back for some more very soon.

Caroline

Thank you so much for your very kind comments. We do guarantee all of our plants to UK destinations and we do take great care in how we pack. The stem was detached from the root ball and looked as though it had rotted thro. I have pushed the stem back down into the netting, but will it continue to grow? your advice would be appreciated.

RE: Replacement Flicifolium broken in the post
Thank you for your kind and generous offer; but my thanks are tinged with sadness since you have no faith in my intensive care through sellotape. This could be the breakthrough horticulture has been waiting for.

ANNIE and GUY COMMENT:
Well....we have never tried the sellotape fix ourselves and just in case Filicifolium doesn't respond to its 'plaster cast' we'll send you a brother plant to keep it company whilst it's in your intensive care department. Best wishes.

Plants arrived on time, all in excellent condition but one, Filicifolium, which was broken at the stem. But has been repaired with sellotape so I hope it survives.

Dear Annie

Geraniums arrived in Edinburgh entirely intact and were potted up after a wee rest to allow for the trauma of being in the dark for so long. I am delighted to have these as I have been searching for a favourite scented geranium my granny grew but which gave up the ghost about the same time as she did. Thanks again.
