Annie, that’s me, I'm the SLP plantaholic and spend just about every single daylight hour outside in the Nursery area. Yes, even during this extremely cold spell I don the wellies and layers of coats and continue to beaver away in the polytunnel, greenhouse and our very large potting shed and nurture our treasured plants.
Guy is the techie, webmaster and promotions expert. It is through his expertise that so many of you have discovered our website and scented geraniums. We are based in
Northern Ireland towards the top end. Our Nursery is located on a former farm and the aspects are stunning as we enjoy spectacular views of
Benbradagh
Mountain, The Sperrins Mountain Range and The Roe Valley. This area of NI is known as 'the hidden jewel' as it is still relatively undiscovered by many tourists.
Sharon and Lucy are our part time helpers.
Sharon has been with us for almost a year now and from having absolutely no gardening experience has really come on well. She now understands what a leaf is!! Lucy is the ‘newbie’ and is just about to join us this month and probably doesn’t have any idea at present just how much there will be to learn.
Mervyn is our very close neighbour and has been absolutely invaluable in helping to plan and sort out our infrastructure. His willingness in helping to set up our Nursery and the interest he constantly shows is hard to describe. Without his help, and his tractor, we wouldn’t be anywhere near as far along as we are.
We might be a ‘small’ private nursery compared to some but we are totally committed and passionate about growing our Scented Leaf Pelargoniums. Our daily aim in life these days is to enjoy what we do each and every day and bring about a greater awareness of these beautiful and versatile plants to as many people as possible. The Internet ensures that we are able to do this and our Scented Leaf Pelargoniums have been delivered to every region throughout the
UK,
Ireland and to all EU Countries.
Providing excellent Customer Service is high on our list of priorities. We also like to add the personal touch wherever possible and we do encourage direct emails to us if anyone has a question, either before or after ordering. There are two ways of sending us an email, either by using the Contact Us page via our website or by our direct email address which is scentedgeraniums@btinternet.com. It isn't practical to list our telephone number on our website as Annie is out in the Nursery most of the day and she'd never get any work done.
We recommend that everyone reads the information on this page as the contents are basically our Terms & Conditions. It also lets you know what to do should you have a problem with an Order.
Visitors to our Nursery are welcome. We've had quite a few visitors to our Nursery over the past couple of years and it is surprising just how far folk will travel. We have 'regulars' from the South of Ireland and mainland England, however, we do ask that you email us and arrange a day and approx. time prior to a planned visit. Generally, I would walk around with Visitors and talk about the different Scenteds that we grow. This is extremely well received and people are totally fascinated both by being able to experience the scents and by the tips that they pick up. As a guide a visit would usually last about 2 hours.
How to Care for Scented Leaf Pelargoniums
There's lots of tips HERE explaining the conditions and care that the Scented Leaf Group need and prefer. If you are a Beginner it really is important that you have a read through and come to understand how to make your plants thrive. I'm very pleased to say that 99.9% of orders are delivered without any problems. I would pass the comment that there has been the odd occasion where we have received a complaint but the reality has been that it was Customer neglect/lack of knowledge that had caused the problem. Yes, there will be the rare occasion that a plant did not travel well and we do not dispute these instances and would always offer a replacement. Basically, with age, hindsight and experience you do come to know who's genuine and who is trying it on! We seem to be living in an age of 'scammers'......even plant scammers.

Please communicate with us in a pleasant and constructive way. Of course, the majority of people do but that odd aggressive and rude person really does irritate us beyond endurance. They are guaranteed not to get a good result from either of us!! Picture in your mind......a lovely peaceful setting, surrounded by the sweetest smelling plants ever, laid back days playing with plants..... You go inside and check the emails and lo and behold there's some nutter yelling through our computer with no manners!
