Year on year our beautiful and fascinating Scented Leaf Pelargonium are increasing in popularity throughout the UK and Ireland; indeed throughout the World. Scented Geraniums are a sub-shrub as opposed to an annual bedding plant and with the correct care and growing conditions they will provide lots of pleasure for many years.
Growing habits of the individual types do vary enormously; e.g. compact types are excellent as a house plant in the home all year long. Medium to larger growing types prefer more 'leg' room and wil do well in containers or in the summer borders during frost free months, between May through to October. The majority of types flower prolifically for many months of the year. Scent/aroma is contained in natural oils in the leaves and being herbs these can be used in lots of different recipes. For Beginners we recommend our JUMBO Starter Sized plants which will get you off to a good start.
