Topic of Valid Email Address and Spam Filters when Ordering
Email address: ideally use a personal one as when we reply to a company email address this will often be blocked Spam filters on your computer: this may also be another reason why you do not receive email updates from us on the progress of your Order
Recently we have encountered a few instances where our regular email Order updates are not being received. This means that you will not be aware of the scheduled week of when to expect delivery. It also means that we have absolutely no way of replying to any email enquiry that you send us, as each attempt will be blocked again.
If you do not receive a scheduled delivery week from us within a couple of days of placing your Order please contact us using an alternative email address.
There is absolutely no purpose in getting angry with us as we really do offer exceptional Customer Service but if we cannot contact you through the email address that you provide how are we able to communicate?

P. fulgidum
Scent/Aroma: pungent
Leaf: silvery grey/green, oblong to heart shaped, hairy, soft and silky to the touch, curled serrated edge. Stems are semi-succlent and quite delicate.
Flower: scarlet or carmine, vivid bright red. 4 to 9 per umbel like head.
Growing Habit: upright with a scrambling habit - requires some support as it matures. Ht. from 18ins to 2m with a similar spread. Can be kept to a reasonable size by regular pruning.
Other Info: Species dwarf shrub - Parent of several modern hybrid types. Latin species name fulgidum translates to shining or bright coloured, referring to the brilliantly coloured flowers. In its natural habitat this Species provides food for many wild birds. The hairy leaves trap moisture during the night hours which provides water during the intense day heat.
Annie & Guy's Comments: The brightness of the scarlet red flower against the silvery grey-green foliage is stunning. Fulgidum is one of our favourite Species as it is really noticeable within a group of Scenteds. Having a pungent scent/aroma it isn't one of the 'pretty' perfumes but one has to appreciate its unique beauty and the fact that it has been a major Parent to many of the modern hybrids for probably 3 to 400 years.
